Charlie was previously one of the first business hires and head of growth at Ramp, helping to launch the first corporate card built for savings. During his tenure, Ramp was one of the fastest growing corporate card programs in the US and raised over $50M in venture capital from Founder’s Fund, Coatue, D1 Capital, and many more. Prior to Ramp, he was the first business hire at Plaid, a San Francisco-based startup that enables applications to connect to financial accounts via API. Charlie led the company's fintech and developer sales vertical in San Francisco. He also built out their New York offices. Plaid raised over $300M in venture capital from NEA, Spark Capital, Goldman Sachs, A16Z, Index Ventures, and many others prior to our announced exit to Visa for $5.3B. Charlie started his career at JPMorgan Chase, working across several strategy groups covering payments, APIs, blockchain, and fintech.
